RULES AND REGULATIONS
MISS GAY PRIDE 2004

1. Entry Fee of $100 is due no later than midnight may 29th and must
accompany application.
2. Talent is limited to 7 minutes which includes the set-up and break down
of props… No fire ,live animals or anything deemed harmful to other
contestants or the Miss Gay Pride guest.
3. Contestants should arrive by 8pm on the night of the pageant to do a
quick walk-thru of presentation and evening gown.
4. Each contestant is allowed one dresser back stage. At no time should a
contestant have more than one person backstage.
5. All dressers, back-up dancers and contestant guest will be required to
pay the door fee.
6. The use of drugs or over indulgance in alcohol will not be tolerated and
may be reason for disqualification.
7. Each contestant should bring with them on 3x5 index cards a description
of evening gown and accessories and a description of presentation
costume and accessories (REMEMBER THE THEME IS GAY PRIDE)
8. Each contestant is to write a speech pertaining to what Gay Pride means
to them– This speech will be quoted live by the contestant during
presentation. The speech should not be longer than 2 minutes.
9. The 3 judged categories are PRIDE PRESENTATION, EVENING GOWN, and TALENT.
10. Please have 2 copies of your Talent Music for YOUR protection.If using cassette please make sure it is cued.
11. Application fees are NON-REFUNDABLE
